JUST ADD SUNSHINE
COORDINATION --- SOPHISTICATION --- WEEKEND --- HOLIDAY
The aim of a "capsule wardrobe" is to have an outfit for any occasion without owning an excessive number of clothing items.
We can help you put together you capsule wardrobe and build on it each season, by adding key pieces to reflect the seasons trends and colours.
We recommend starting with trousers, jeans and skirts in colours which will coordinate with other pieces. Pick a few pairs of shoes which can be worn on a number of occasions, we would suggest pumps (ballet flats), heels & trainers.
Remember muted colours if you want to keep them a major part of your wardrobe beyond the season, but it you plan to update for AW18 then go for a pop of colour. Then use the colour and pattern trends to pick your tops and dresses. Remember your aiming to wear these items for casual, smart casual and formal if you can so pick wisely.
If you need more help with a capsule wardrobe that fits your style and budget then please contact us.

Last year we were the proud 1st place winners of the Fitflop summer window display competition. After the retail rush we finally had chance this February to go out as a team to celebrate with a beautiful meal at the Zizzi restaurant in The Broadway Bradford. I would like to thank Fitflop for their kind prize and noticing the effort we put in to create an eye catching window display.
Recently while out & about buying for next season, I met up with the fabulous designer behind the Latte label Adel. We were pleased to discover we have the same fashion sense when we turned up in the same Latte dress. It's always a pleasure to speak to the designers behind the amazing clothes we stock and Adel never fails to impress season after season. We have some amazing pieces for SS17 as well as a stunning range on the way for AW17. So keep your eyes on our website.
This year we had our Christmas meal at Stansfield Arms in Apperley Bridge. A warm and welcoming location with a menu that will tempt your taste buds, highly recommended. This was not just a staff night out, we also enjoyed the company of some of our customers, who were an absolute pleasure offering some interesting conversation topics and allowed us the chance to get to know them away from the shopping environment. In all a beautiful location, gorgeous food, perfect company and obviously, no Christmas party is complete without wine.

Healthy Energy Bites
1 cup whole raw cashews
½ cup raw almonds
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
10oz Medjool dates
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
In a bowl of a food processor fitted with the “S” blasé, grind the cashews ,almonds, cinnamon and salt until finely ground.
Add the pitted dates and vanilla, blitz again until the dough becomes very sticky. (mine came together to become a large ball in the food processor.)
Use a tablespoon to scoop the dough and roll it between your hands to make ball shapes. Arrange them on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then place them in the fridge to set for 1 hour.
Once the balls have firmed up a bit, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
I bet you will not be able to avoid the temptation to pop 1 off the bites in your mouth as your making them... Enjoy!
